History

2015 Zirax sells 51% of its oilfield service unit to private equity fund to increase capital injection and service opportunities across Russia.
2015 Zirax buys control stake in well stimulation chemicals producer POLYEX to support its oilfield chemicals division. Having this Zirax now offers full-scale product portfolio – from production chemicals into well kill and work over fluids and finishing with reservoir stimulation chemicals all over the globe.
2014 Zirax starts to supply high performing calcium chloride based de-icers into Kazakhstan – fast growing Caspian region country with enormous opportunities in oil drilling, de-icing, construction and food grade sectors, where Zirax sells most of its synthetic calcium chloride pellets.
2014 Zirax opens Latin American market with FUDIX food grade calcium chloride establishing sales into Colombia and Peru.
2014 Zirax records 50% of market share for food grade calcium chloride FUDIX in Serbia and Croatia markets. Gaining more and more support and sales from Bulgarian, Spanish and Portugal markets as well continuously.
2013 Zirax starts to supply 94-98% PELLETOIL mini pellets for Western African market, Ghana and Angola.
2013 Zirax celebrates 10th anniversary of Zirax AUSTRIA to mark solid experience in supplying high quality CaCl2-based brines for local governmental road agencies during winter season for road traffic security.
2012 Zirax starts supply of hydrochloric acid – based well stimulation chemicals for few Russian oil production companies to register record demand for the new product, which enables to get up to 70% output increase from carbonate formations.
2011 Zirax launches pre-harvest and post-harvest calcium chloride treatment program for several Russian apple producers. Usage of synthetic food grade calcium chloride pellets in Russia widens.
2010 Zirax has redeemed full 100% of Nextra retail branch assets and has started to be it’s the only owner
2010 Zirax de-listed from the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange (
2009 Zirax acquired limestone mine in the area of its main production facility in Volgograd, Russia
2009 Anlagenbau und Service GmbH changed its name to Zirax GmbH
2009 Zirax has set up its own Oil Service company that was called «Zirax Oil Service»
2008 Zirax has acquired 50% of assets of retail company Nextra and has started to create its retail branch in Saint Petersburg city Russia based on that
2008 Acquisition of Solith Anlagenbau und Service GmbH, Austria
2007 Opening of the Rosignano plant in Italy. Zirax became the second largest supplier of calcium chloride pellets globally and the leading supplier in the Eastern Hemisphere
2006 Zirax signs an agreement with Solvay SA to develop a new plant to produce calcium chloride pellets at its Rosignano facility in Italy
2006 Commencement of the refurbishment programme of the Company’s calcium chloride production facility in Volgograd, Russia
2006 Global-Kaustik LLC change its name to Zirax LLC
2005 Zirax Limited admission to the AIM market of London Stock Exchange
2005 Zirax Limited acquiring the entire share capital of Global-Kaustik LLC
2005 Zirax Limited was incorporated in England and acquired 100% of shares in Global-Kaustik LLC
2002 First production facility completed in Volgograd
