PREMELT® 94-97% Calcium Chloride Pellets

PREMELT™ Calcium Chloride Pellets are 94-97% calcium chloride and melt ice faster and across a wider temperature range than competing products. PREMELT™ has a practical melting temperature of -25° F (-32° C) making it the ice melter with the lowest melting point.

PREMELT™ Calcium Chloride Pellets meets fully or exceed standards ASTM D 98, AASHTO M144 requirements, GOST 450-77.

PREMELT™ Calcium Chloride Pellets is used as chemical deicer on roadways, thoroughfares, pedestrian walkways and parking lots. This product is recommended for deicing asphalt and concrete surfaces that have been designed and constructed for winter conditions.

Quantity and melting action depend upon air and pavement temperatures, storm conditions, thickness of compacted ice and snow.

PREMELT™ Calcium Chloride requires no additional handling, equipment or labor over and above that used for regular deicing agent. Protective clothing, rubber gloves and boots, eye protection are recommended due to adverse effect on leather. This product should be handled in areas with proper ventilation. Refer to MSDS for complete safety and handling guidelines. The product should be stored in dry area preferably indoors on pallets. If stored properly the maximum shelf life is two years and more.
